Fresh Air is the pioneer in the disposal of Bio-Medical Waste and liquid waste management in the whole NE region. The organization registered under companies act 1956 was established with an objective of working for pollution control of both air and water and has been in operation since the year 2003. The organization, has practically implemented the idea of Common Bio-medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) for the first time in the whole North Eastern Region. Fresh Air started this program in September 2004 with only one hospital. The Company owns and runs one of the 149 Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facilities (CBWTF) of the country which is also the First and only CBWTF in the whole NE region. This facility is providing service to more than 600 health care facilities (HCF) of Guwahati and lower Assam under which the Bio Medical Waste generated by these HCF is being collected, transported for final treatment and disposal.
